Performance Coaching: Empowering Others to be Their Best (2 Days)
Coaching is the continuous, collaborative process of providing direction, feedback, and encouragement with the intent of enhancing the effectiveness of associates, self, and the organization.  The purpose of this course is to help you develop confidence and competence in these primary applications:  enhancing seasoned performance, teaching new skills, grooming for new responsibilities, correcting performance problems, and assisting others in finding career opportunities elsewhere.
    During this highly interactive course, you will engage with other participants and the instructor to further explore and apply these concepts.

      Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course you should be able to:

      • Apply coaching strategies to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness.
      • Communicate more effectively in dealing with sensitive issues and conflict situations.
      • Create a climate that fosters safe feedback and growth for both the individual and team.
      • Identify the style differences of others and communicate with them under both favorable and adverse conditions.
      • Link individual and organizational vision and values.
      • Apply coaching tools to reinforce exemplary performance and deal with performance issues to include; Performance Coaching, Partnership Coaching, Career Coaching, Team Coaching, Process Coaching, and “Career Opportunity Elsewhere” Coaching.
