HELP II: Executive Overview
01-09-M510
An Executive Session presenting a dramatic picture of the past, present, and future of the workplace based on the insight and an analysis of Littler’s over 400 employment and labor attorneys. This session will focus on the issues in employment and labor that will have the greatest impact on our organizations in the coming years.
This session will ask if we should be focused on:
    • The types of claims and lawsuits that have long been the mainstay of employment litigation?
    • Wage-hour class actions, harassment and discrimination claims, and violations of ethics issues?
    • The plaintiffs’ bar surprising us with new theories of recovery and novel causes of action?
It’s not just the new Civil Service Reform law that state leaders need to understand, but the myriad of state and federal employment laws that affect your workplaces
The first half of this decade has brought us ethical and legal compliance, codes of ethical conduct, outsourcing, identity theft, new restrictions on global migration and heightened concerns for the safety and security of our workplaces. Just imagine what lies ahead.
Through reports from across the country, across our subject matter domain, and through interviews with newsmakers and industry leaders, this Executive Session will explore the leading trends and help you analyze which developments will directly affect your organization and your role and responsibilities as leaders.
