This course will help you recognize potential hazards, and choose safe and legal driving behaviors. Every day you have the potential to encounter driving conditions that can change quickly. Recognizing these conditions and knowing how to adjust your driving to them are in your best interests.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course you should be able to:
- List three elements of an accident or crash.
- Gain knowledge of how a vehicle and equipment contributes to crashes or adds to the injuries in a crash.
- Learn what control the driver has over conditions which include: alcohol and other drugs, drowsiness, aggression, speeding, using a cellular phone and distraction to driving.
- Discover how a driver can compensate for external conditions and environmental hazards.
