DOP frequently receives requests from client agencies asking for help with training and organizational development issues. In many cases, DOP has talented internal resources from which to draw upon to meet these needs. At times, certain situations are best served by retaining an external consultant. When these demands arise, DOP provides a list of pre-qualified contractors who may be of assistance to the client agency. When the client's needs suggest external expertise is required, DOP may recommend the use of pre-qualified Business Partners.
DOP partners with contracted consultants to provide training and organizational consulting services to state agencies. Becoming a member of the Business Partner Solutions (BPS) pool creates a win-win-win opportunity for state agencies, contractors and DOP. Agencies have access to the consultants or training professionals they need through DOP's master contract services and contractors have opportunity to be selected for important work after being qualified by DOP.
DOP releases periodic Requests for Qualifications and Quotations (RFQQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) to maintain a current and comprehensive talent pool of qualified contractors.
Contractors are encourage to respond to any open RFQQ and RFP and become a part of DOP's Business Partner Solutions.
