Best Practices and Benchmarks
Best practices and benchmarks show employers ways to improve HR management practices.

What are best practices?
Best practices are documented strategies or methods used by high performing organizations to achieve successful outcomes for particular services, processes, or products. Distinct from ‘good’ or ‘promising’ ideas, best practices deliver consistent, predictable results that can be implemented across organizations to improve performance.

What are benchmarks?
Benchmarks are recognized standards against which to compare or measure performance of a service, process, or product. Benchmarking involves continuous comparison to industry leaders or the “best in class,” and adapting best practices to improve results and performance.
