The Business Intelligence (SAP BI) application retains a historical record of HRMS data and is used to generate a variety of agency-specific and statewide reports.

BI Support
- The TIER2 Response Team for BI provides assistance to users via help desk incidents. To request assistance, contact the DOP Service Center at 360.664.6400 or send e-mail to servicecenter@dop.wa.gov.
- The TIER2 Response Team for BI provides support for Power Users in the HRMS Production Support Lab. To schedule time in the lab, contact the DOP Service Center at 360.664.6400 or e-mail to servicecenter@dop.wa.gov and provide the following:
- Name
- Agency
- Phone Number
- Hours requested (2 hours or 4 hours or 8 hours).
- Date/Time requested (please provide preferred and alternate date/time) Note: Lab is available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for registered participants only (participants will receive a confirmation for scheduled time).
- Type of support required. For example, "I'm a BI Power User and need assistance with creating ad hoc queries in BI".
- BI Custom Reports are available via the HRMS Portal (reference the BI Self-Paced Learning Materials for more info). These reports were designed to provide users with flexible reporting options. This allows both End Users and Power Users the ability to apply "user defined settings". Users have the ability to add/remove rows or columns, filter and sort report results, etc.
- Sometimes it's easier to apply user defined settings to an existing BI report via the HRMS Portal rather than building a new ad hoc query. BI Power Users -- before creating a new ad hoc query, check the BI Reports via the HRMS Portal -- you may be able to apply user defined settings to an existing report!
- BI Power Users are the designated agency "go to" person for BI reporting questions. If you don't know who your agency Power Users are, contact your agency Security Administrator (or contact the DOP Service Center).

- Change Request to apply SAP Vendor Support Packs has been moved to production (CR12566 Apply SAP Vendor Notes in Support Pack).
- Change Request to modify schedule when data is extracted and loaded for OM/PA Text has been moved to production (CR12741 New Hire Employee Names are loaded weekly instead of daily).
- Change Request to modify how data is extracted and loaded for Salary Unit Amount has been moved to production (CR12742 Salary Unit Amount Missing for EE’s with both WT1003 and WT1004 in IT0008).

- SAP Business Intelligence (BI) reporting application is currently available Monday through Friday 6am to 6pm.
- SAP Business Intelligence (BI) reporting application InfoProviders are available for reporting at this time*.
- The data loads for Headcount and Personnel Actions are processing again as scheduled. These are the “daily” data loads (scheduled Sunday through Thursday).
- The data loads for AFRS Master Data in the Financial Cube (ZPY_C51) have been put on hold due to a technical issue. These data loads are usually scheduled to be loaded “daily” (during batch processing in the evenings when files are received from OFM/AFRS). Technical staff are working to resolve this issue.
- The Data loads for AFRS Transaction Data in the FInancial Cube (ZPY_C51) are processing again as scheduled.
- The data loads for AFRS Master Data will continue to be on hold until further notice. It is anticipated that the regular data load schedule for AFRS Master Data will resume on or before November 24, 2009 (scheduled as part of the HRMS Release Management process. For more information about HRMS Release Management, please reference http://www.dop.wa.gov/payroll/HRMS/HRMSSupport/Pages/Change-ReleaseManagement.aspx)).

- Update for the reported issue for the Payroll InfoProvider (Employee Specific Payroll Data): It was previously reported that there may be a data issue with values for the Key Figure (field values) called “Count of all employee ZCNT_RECS”. The values for “ZCNT_RECS” are mapped back to the “count of records” as indicated in the Technical Name (“ZCNT_RECS”). This was a requirement for the BI application for users to report the record counts for wage types. The title/text appearing in front of the Key Figure “ZCNT_RECS” may be updated with a future Change Request to help reduce confusion.
- The data loads for Quota are pending. An update of the progress of the data loads will be posted here. Note: data loads for July 2008 through July 2007 have completed. Technical staff are working to resolve data issues prior to re-loading this data and processing additional data loads (historical data loads).

InfoProviders include InfoCubes, MultiProviders (a combination of data from two or more InfoProviders), master data tables, etc. The table below contains a list of available InfoProviders from which all BI Custom Reports will be developed.
