Layoff Lists Maintained by the Department of Enterprise Services  

Employees who have received formal written notice from their employer that they have been laid off may be eligible to be placed on the Layoff List(s).  Additional information on the lists is found at Layoff Lists and General Government Transition Pool (GGTP).

 

 

How to Apply to the Centralized Layoff List

 

Step 1: Send a copy of the layoff letter you received from your employer to the mailing address, email address or FAX number listed below:

    Department of Enterprise Services

    FAX: 360-407-9171
    Email: LayoffandGGTP@dop.wa.gov

Step 2: After completing step 1, you must email the Layoff Administrator at LayoffandGGTP@dop.wa.gov to receive additional information to complete and to have your name placed on the layoff list.
 

Step 3: Data is entered by the Layoff Coordinator at DES. 
 

Step 4: When the process is completed, an email confirmation is sent notifying you that your name and information have been entered on the centralized layoff list(s). 

 

 

 

Updating information on the Layoff List maintained centrally by DES  
If you need to make a change to your availability you submit to the DES Layoff Administrator, please send an email with your name, personnel number, and new information to LayoffandGGTP@dop.wa.gov.

 

Remember to keep your contact information updated www.careers.wa.gov, including your email address.

 

 

Assistance with Job Search 
The DES Layoff Resources and Service Center is located at 1500 Jefferson Steet in Olympia. 

 

There are computers with access to on-line resources, and staff to assist you in performing job searches and applying to Layoff and GGTP pools.

 

Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You may contact the service center by email at information@dop.wa.gov (link), or call 360-664-1960, toll free 877-664-1960, TTY: Washington Relay Service 7-1-1 or 1-800-833-6388.
