Documents Used for Other Director's Reviews
Documents considered for Rule Violation reviews:
  • The employee’s request for a Director’s review
  • The request should specify the laws and/or rules allegedly violated.
  • Any documentation to support the claim of the alleged violation.

Documents considered for Remedial Action reviews:
  • The employee’s request for Director’s Review.
  • Documentation of employee’s original start date.
  • Time records indicating when the employee exceeded the 1050 hours in a twelve consecutive month period since the original hire date.

NOTE: According to WAC 357-19-450(1), an employee has to work more than 1,050 hours “in any twelve consecutive month period since the original hire date.”

As an example, if the original hire date is October 1, 2007, the first twelve consecutive month period is from October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008.  The next twelve consecutive month period would be from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009, and the pattern would continue.
