Organizations are expecting employees at all levels to work together, often across areas of responsibility, to solve problems and make decisions collaboratively. While collaboration contributes to improved performance, it can also reveal new opportunities for conflict. This course provides you with skills to turn conflict into opportunities and to achieve positive and productive results. You will learn practical tools to apply in your work situations, putting new emphasis on collaboration.

    Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course you should be able to:

    • Identify influences that are contributing to conflict in today’s workplace.
    • Identify behavior patterns that undermine the ability to address conflict constructively.
    • Describe key methods of dealing with undermining behaviors.
    • Demonstrate key action steps to address and manage conflict on the job.
