LeaderPath for IT Managers (8 Days)

LeaderPath for IT Managers offers an intensive learning opportunity for IT leadership professionals.  Participants focus on public sector leadership using case studies, group exercises, mock presentations, personal evaluations and panel discussions with experts to create a highly participatory and multidimensional learning environment.
    This program is an eight day session beginning with a one-day orientation workshop, followed by three 2-day modules one month apart, to allow for work on capstone projects.  The final day of LeaderPath is the Capstone Project presentation.
      LeaderPath for IT Managers is co-sponsored by the Washington State Department of Personnel (DOP) and Information Processing Management Association (IPMA).  Classes are taught by University of Washington Tacoma faculty at the UW Tacoma campus.

        Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course you should be able to:

        • Assess individual leadership capability and create an action plan for improvement
        • Build relationships and communicate effectively with all business disciplines and stakeholders
        • Develop teams, build partnerships, and nurture alliances enterprise wide that improve organizational results
