Add new type of leave, service member leave.  This addition allows up to twenty-six weeks of leave for an eligible employee who is the spouse, child, parent, or next of kin of a covered service member.  This leave is used to care for a covered service member who is suffering from a serious illness or injury arising from injuries incurred in the line of duty 6/10/08

Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault or Stalking 357-31-730 New rule that allows leave to be used when an employee or the employee's family member, is a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking, as defined in section 2, chapter 286, Laws of 2008, and the employee is seeking to use their accrued leave or take leave without pay the employer may require that the request be supported by verification. This rule includes the verification requirements. 10/1/08
