2.3 Standard Report Format

Each agency with more than 100 employees is required to submit its HR Management Report to the Department of Personnel semi-annually -- each October 15th and April 15th to HRMPerformanceAndAccountability@dop.wa.gov. The following month, DOP will present a statewide roll-up report and analysis to the Governor and all agency directors.

Standard HR Management Report formats have been developed as templates for agencies to use. These standard formats are intended to:

  • encourage graphical display of data where possible
  • encourage data analysis and action step text
  • reduce time required to generate agency reports
  • allow easy comparison of results among agencies
  • facilitate statewide roll-up of agency-tracked data

Can we customize our HR Management Report?

Agencies are encouraged to take ownership and customize their report to meet business needs. As such, strict use of these standard formats are not required but the generic content, measures, and the order of the measures should be the same.
